Eagles Flight
On Friday morning , the 22nd of September, the Eagles Flight workshop took place the Pavilion. Eagles Flight was great fun but also very helpful. It taught me how to plan my projects and essays better.
Ger O'Shea the speaker put us into 5 groups, we quickly began a game called 'The secret for the lost dutchman's gold mine'. The aim of the game was to collect as much gold as possible and bring it back to Apache Junction within twenty days. Inside the envelope we were given materials we needed to survive the twenty days. My team started off very well, but as we progressed we had to hide our gold in our pockets, we called it hiding money in 'Swiss bank accounts'. This was a very affective strategy as we made better deals with other teams they thought we had no gold. My team finished last with five pieces of gold. The reason we lost was because we didn't plan at the start.
