DIT Open Day
On Friday the 1st of December, fourth years went to the Dublin Institute of Technology for the day. On the bus drive over we were all talking about which lectures we were going to go to. I went to the lectures with Colin, Steven, Alex, and Jack. The first one we went to was culinary science which was interesting as I love cooking and DIT have one of the best culinary courses in Ireland. We then took a break afterwards and went for a walk around the university and stopped at different stalls along the way. The second lecture we went to was sports science, which was slightly different to what I thought it was going to be. There is more science behind it than I thought. We had lunch in the canteen. This was one of the best parts of the day as we were all so hungry and because the chips were so nice, but to be honest I think it was because they had ice tea. The last lecture that we squeezed in before leaving was accounting. This one was quite boring and there was a lot of maths involved. All together this was a very informational day and I would think about going to this university.
